Dear Patty:

I believe that the endorsement process will soon be taking place to help elect candidates who have clearly shown not only their support, but a proven track record of promoting the interests of working men and women.

This letter is to endorse and recommend, without reservation, such a candidate, Jean Marie Christenson. 

JeanMarie is running for election as State Representative, District 2, Position 1.  I became acquainted with her in my campaign for Port Commissioner last fall.  She immediately struck me with her understanding, concern, and commitment to the principles and ideals shared by those of us who have worked our entire careers in the Labor Movement.

She is intelligent and driven.  She is a staunch supporter of Organized Labor even when the odds are not in her favor.  I am an admirer of her character and her commitment.  She is currently the 1st Vice Chair, LD2. 

I am proud to endorse JeanMarie for State Representative and sincerely urge the Pierce County Central Labor Counsel to endorse her candidacy as well.
