About me

Jean Marie Christenson has been a personal growth counselor, therapeutic consultant, and seminar leader for over 20 years. A Washington native, she was born in Spokane and grew up in Wenatchee. Her permanent residence is Rainier, Washington.
 Jean Marie has worked successfully in both private and public settings through her counseling practice and teaching personal growth seminars. She has always generously contributed her time volunteering in the community, including caring for several foster children and donating her services as a counselor to youth at risk. Jean Marie's involvement with these young people was heartily applauded and she has been presented several awards for her caring leadership.
 She was also a long time volunteer at Washington State Reformatory, donating her time as a counselor in the psychiatric department of their hospital, and has written and published a book on the Washington State prison system, The Keepers and the Caged.
